Health and Weightloss Week 3
I was awake to early this morning but I weighed myself and I lost 3.3lbs more and I'm over the moon happy about it. I am finding more pants I need to pull up while wearing them as well. I did my measurements My Chest is 40 1/2 inches, my belly is 44 inches which is 2 inches less than last week and I am not sure I am measuring my hips correctly due to not really knowing where they begin or end because of all the excess weight I have accumulated over the last 13 years. Its not a big deal because its a overall victory for me this week with the weightloss and 2 inches off the stomach/belly.
This was a new meal we tried Chicken Enchilada Roll ups and riced cauliflower. The cauliflower was bland but not horrible just need to learn to season it for next time. The Chicken was so delicious. Paul and I enjoyed it but our kids were a bit eh. My oldest ate the cauliflower which I was totally proud of. My boys really just didn't eat much at all this night.
Another new one I tried. My family likes it when we have homemade pizza so I just altered the crust for me and made a regular for my family and I had a cauliflower crust which is made with low fat cheese and some italian seasoning and turkey pepperoni and a little big of turkey bacon bits on top of the pizza. It was really delcious. This one is a favorite I came up with for lunch my chicken nuggets I make with the Honey Mustard and Onion sticks and then I put it on a salad with a little bit of low fat cheese and some low fat dressing.
Another night this week we had tacos and I had a taco salad with some avacado on top and low fat ranch dressing. My protein in there is 93% lean hamburger browned with a little bit of seasoning.
Saturday me and Paul went to the Houston Rodeo. I drank water the whole time I was there and I took my afternoon fueling and for dinner I just had a chicken patty. It was way over priced and not great tasting but because we got food during the actual rodeo we couldn't go get the better choices that was more filling. I am proud of myself to stick to the program while out smelling all the deep fried foods, and other choices I avoided even free samples of stuff people were handing out to try. Another victory this week was I had to make a fruit salad for my son's blue and gold cub scout banquet and also a dessert of Sand Pudding I didn't have any at all while making it or the night of the event. These are small victories but worth celebratig as I make the changes to help me reach optimal health.
